This is a great time of year to shop at Costco if you’re a medical marijuana patient, especially if you want to get into cooking or making Canna Caps.

First: they’re running a special coupon and mail-in rebate deal that gets you $15 off a Crock-Pot (6-quart size) that comes with the Little Dipper I talked about at length awhile back. With those two, you can make cannabis infused oil or butter, in almost any reasonable quantity.

Second: they just started carrying the very same oil I use to make all my capsules and cooking oil: Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Only because they’re Costco, you have to buy a huge container of it at once. And because they’re Costco, you’re going to save a lot of money…by the ounce, it’s almost exactly half of the best price I can find anywhere else.

Third, I ran across this cool carafe when I walked in the door, and the first thing I thought of was that it looked like some futuristic space-age double bong. It’s not that tall, but the mouth is pretty wide, and the glass seemed pretty thick too. You could actually put two bowls in it, but you could also put a bowl in one of the “sides” and pour ice down the other one…that would be pretty epic, I think.
