I’m Back…And On the Tooth of February

Source: Wikipedia

That’s February 2th to most people (most people who aren’t as high as I am right now that is).

I had to take 4 months of Mental Health Days to get my head back together. This encompassed the usual minor disasters: car crashes, the loss of family and pets, good stuff and bad stuff…you know, life.

I bugged out, I think, because I had to straighten my head out about the whole big Green Rush and THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY and all that stuff going on here in California. And I was scared to come back. In fact, I still am, a bit, because I was worried that I had let people down or pissed them off or missed something important. And I’m sure I did. But most of what I’ve read so far is positive, so I’ll try to stay positive. And I’ll try to stay here again.

The main thing is that I got my head together and went back to basics to fully understand that I am not part of “the cannabis industry”, I do not want to “make big money fast”, “monetize my visitors”, or any of that nonsense.

I love all you people, and we’re going to keep this place here for as long as ever possible, and we’re going to keep doing it without clickbait, fake Facebook followers, or any of that bullshit.

Thank you all for keeping the faith and believing in us.

Love,
OH and Felicity

Old Hippie is a father of two boys and thankfully living in California where all this kind of thing is legal. He started smoking marijuana in 1967 in high school, experimented with mind-expanding drugs of all kinds, and then straightened out 15 or so years later to become an airplane pilot. After being diagnosed with depression in 2000, he lost his job and most of the following decade to prescription medications (such as antidepressants) which sapped his energy and will. Finally, a chance conversation with a friend led to a doctor’s recommendation for medical marijuana (MMJ). This changed his entire life, health, and outlook for the better. BeyondChronic.com is his continuing story. It’s also his way to provide experienced advice on using medical marijuana effectively and responsibly, as well as advocacy, activism, and support for others. Old Hippie teaches about safe use of cannabis edibles, Canna Caps, vaporizers, dosing, and even microdosing.
