This entire website started six years ago yesterday, but it’s today that I celebrate as my “re-birthday”…the first day of my new life as a medical marijuana patient.

Over 250 posts and 1.5 million visitors later, Beyond Chronic has become a respected source of cannabis information, and certainly one of the most widely-read blogs in the field. Those facts make Felicity and I feel very grateful for all of you out there who have been reading Beyond Chronic and sharing it with your friends via email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, Stumbleupon, and elsewhere.

Other people are noticing us as well. Cannahacker recently picked our epic edible story Great Balls Of Ganja Goo as #1 in its roundup of “7 Crazy Edibles You Just Have To Try“. Vapor Town USA wrote an article where they asked me to be one of 16 vaporizer experts (blush…their words, not mine) answering the question “What 3 tips would you give first time vaporizer buyers?” (you can read my tips here). Cannabis Now magazine did an interview with Old Hippie about AVB back in October, and our friends at Southern Cannabis often link to us from their articles, like this one about e-juice.

My friend EJ from Vapor Town definitely knew how to get my attention though, because I just love answering questions! I’ve been doing that here and on Reddit for the same six years informally, and I’ve interacted with literally thousands of people in that time. We also started a slightly more formal “Ask Old Hippie” section right here on Beyond Chronic, where we’ve answered dozens of questions from people with all levels of cannabis experience.

So…thank you all for being there, and we’ll try to keep being here as long as possible…and a bit more often too! Nugs and hugs!
